01 September 21 - Changes to Operating times for Autumn & Winter Hires

Goodbye Summer 👋 Hello Autumn 🍂 Monthly update…

As the holidays come to an end, we would firstly like to thank all that have booked with us this year so far! Your custom is much appreciated and we hope you’ve had as much fun as we have.

Now, September usually brings with it a introduction to darker evenings in preparation for the start of Autumn and Winter - One of the main priority’s in inflatable hire is ensuring the use of our equipment is done so in the safest way possible, allowing users to have maximum fun and of-course, prevent any accidents happening during your hire. Visibility for supervisors watching the inflatable and it’s users is an essential role and is a key part of successfully running an event! However, as it starts to get darker, the visibility for said adult begins to reduce and it’s not always easy to see everything happening whilst the inflatable is in use. We recommend only using inflatables during daylight hours for the best experience and to lessen the possibility of an accident occurring. That being said, from September 1st, our operating hours must reduce in accordance to this. We will therefore offer delivery from 9am*, and our last available pick-up will be 7pm. If you need the inflatable longer than 7pm, you can opt for overnight hire on most of our bouncy castle hires (additional cost applies), but we must advise you should have bright outdoor lighting that covers at-least 80% of the visibility of all inflatables so that supervisors can keep a close eye on users.

*Customers who have already pre-booked for times earlier than this will honoured

Our recommendation for autumn and winter hires

  • It begins to get a little colder come as the seasons change, therefore it’s good practice to allows users more time for breaks whilst their off the inflatables. It’s also suggested users wear long clothing to keep their arms and legs warm.
  • If possible, and when hiring for outdoors, when delivery is on-going, ask the operator to set-up the inflatable close to patio so that users don’t have far to trail when walking across grass. Usually, during the colder months, you’ll might find a few mud patches which can become wet and unwanted on socks and clothing.
  • Always check the weather for outdoor hiring during the colder months! Jumping around and having fun may keep users warm, but wet inflatables can cause possible slips and trips, especially on in-even surfaces like bouncy castles. A light drizzle is fine and acceptable, but anything more can ruin the experience, not to mention the adult having to supervise. Have towels at the ready!
  • Consider taking out our ‘Wet Weather Guarantee’ when booking. It’s a really hand optional extra that may come into great use if the forecast changes. And it’s pretty cheap!
  • Finally, always have a back-up plan! It’s great to plan ahead and hope for the best. But, just in case, we have some great colouring activities downloadable on our website! We’ll, we try and think of everything.

Don’t forget! We’re here to help. Before your hire and during it too! We’re a phone call away with some great advice on how to use bouncy castles safely. After-all, it is our number one priority!
