If your booking for outdoor hire, you’ll definitely want to keep a close eye on the weather forecast. The best moments on an inflatable bouncy castle are enjoyed in the sunshine. You can use an inflatable outdoors for many celebratory occasions. Outdoor hire is perfect for the likes of back garden hires or community events on grassed areas.
Our Wet Weather Guarantee is here to give you peace of mind when booking for outdoor hire. it comes at a additionally low cost of just £8 per day and covers such things as your cancellation rights or option to move your hire date, booking and payments to a new date entirely. Most importantly, it highlights the importance of checking the weather forecast beforehand and planning ahead.
What it includes…
We’ll send you a email reminder the day before your delivery is due (approx 24 hours before) prompting you to check the weather forecast using multiple sources such as BBC Weather. You’ll then have until 6pm the day prior delivery to make any final decisions before anything is loaded ready for delivery.
If your happy to chance the weather…
That’s great. We’ll deliver your inflatable as planned on your due delivery date and time. You should still keep an eye of the weather forecast and keep your options open.
If heavy rain is forecast, what should I do?
If heavy rain is forecast for more than 2 consecutive hours during your hire period, we would recommend looking at indoor venues local to you. We have set-up a dedicated venue’s page to assist you with their contact details. It’s recommended you begin calling around straight away, explain your circumstances and hope that somewhere can accommodate.
What about if it’s just light rain?
Light rain is acceptable, as long as users proceed with caution. Remember, surfaces will become slippery when wet.
When the rain stops…
Using a towel or microfibre clothes, try to soak up as much water as possible off the inflatable. This will prevent any accidents. You should also heavily reduce the amount of users on the inflatable at any given time. Once the inflatable has completely dried off, you can resume to the increased users as specified on the inflatable label.
If you plan to use the inflatable on an evening when daylight is reduced…
Consider turning on any garden flood lights you may have. This will help supervisors increase their vision when users are on the inflatable. Do not use inflatables in the dark.
