It’s been an amazing year of weather so far, with very little rain or wind getting in the way of celebrating our most glorious special occasions, we’ve been able to party outside pretty much all summer and, comfortably enjoy it! But alas, as seasons begin to change, and winter starts to make an appearance, you can already begin to feel the coldness and the urge to reach out for a hot drink and a woolly jumper.
There’s no hiding last year was an exception to many, with covid cases high and venues forced to shut their doors, socials gatherings were not promoted and so we were only able to accommodate small garden private parties for hiring outdoor inflatables and bouncy castles for same hold-house members only. Business kept afloat, but only steadily. Over the last 12 months, we’ve witnessed a huge turnaround in these circumstances and so we’re pleased that local venues around the area are able to once again welcome us back into their doors where you can expect dry conditions and warmth all-round.
That being said, we have made the courageous decision to re-introduce indoor hire only through-out November to February. This will prevent many upset birthdays and celebrations that may not be able to go ahead because of weather conditions outdoors that are unpredictable and unpreventable.
Our stats show us from previous years the amount of cancellations received due to either wet-weather or winds too strong, it would be unsafe and unresponsible for us to allow an inflatable hire to go ahead. Hiring a venue or function room can prevent pretty much all those worries. There are so many great reasons why you should consider hiring your next inflatable hire indoors, especially in the winter months. Here’s just a few of them reasons:
- Most venues offer adequate lighting, free heating and use of their features / facilities
- Most venues offer direct access to their toilets (think of the mud trailing in and out of your house from shoes running up the stairs to reach the nearest toilet)
- A good majority of venues can either provide catering at an additional cost or point you in the right direction of someone who can. Alternatively, some venues have their own kitchen facilities which will come includes within the cost of your venue hire allowing you the use of kettles, ovens, microwaves etc.
- Some places even offer FREE venue or function room hire
- The majority of venues have free and spacious parking available directly outside their entrance
- And most importantly, there’s very little chance of weather stopping your party from going ahead
What’s more, we’ve tried to make finding a venue as easy as possible for you - introducing our brand new Venues For Hire page, live on our website right now! Discover local venues around your area, view photos of their appearances both inside and out, read about what makes them special and stand out from the crowd, review their features and compare them against other venues, contact them directly by either phone, email or website. You can even see which inflatables will actually fit at these venues - we’ve done all the measuring work for you!
Don’t forget, we’re here to help. Our Venues For Hire page is still a pretty new feature and we’ll be adding venues more as we get chance to. If you have a venue in mind, and you’d like to discuss what inflatables might fit nicely in there, please contact us.
Checklist for indoor venue hire:
✔️Make sure any inflatables you choose will definitely fit. Use the ‘size’ tool on each inflatables descriptive page to see to required space and access requirements.
✔️Plan out where you’d like everything to go. Consider where you’ll ask us to erect the inflatable, if you’ll need space for tables (for eating), space for the birthday cake to be highlighted, and generally space to have a good run-a-round.
✔️Consider the location of the venue. Is it going to be accessible for the majority of guests attending? If your venue is hard to find, consider adding the What3Words address on there (this will take your guests directly to the front door).
✔️Think about the amount of people your inviting and if the venue had adequate space to accommodate all these guests.
✔️Use the venue features tool on our Venues for Hire page to review if the venue has the facilities you require.
✔️Once booked, check-in with your venue at-least 1 week prior to confirm the opening times for access and when you’ll need to be out by. Make sure you leave enough time either-side of your party times for set-up / pack down.
